SPS STYLING SERVICES TERMS & CONDITIONS

At Surfcoast Property Stylist, we are committed to providing our clients with the highest quality of service. We understand that property styling is a significant investment, and we want to ensure that our clients are fully informed about our policies and procedures before they engage our services. Our Terms and Conditions are designed to protect both the client and our business and ensure that every project runs smoothly and efficiently. 

 

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you can have peace of mind knowing that your project is in the hands of experienced professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional results.

 

  1. Surfcoast Property Stylist is committed to providing a premium quality service to its clients. To ensure that we can allocate resources and plan for your project accordingly, we require a 50% deposit to reserve a date for the commencement of services. The balance is due seven days before the furniture delivery.
  2. The duration of furniture installation and styling is approximate and depends on the size of the property. We estimate that it will take between one to two days to complete the project. The exact duration will be determined by the scope of work and the availability of resources.
  3. Please note that there is a lead time of between two and four weeks between the confirmation of the service and the furniture delivery. This allows us enough time to plan and prepare for your project adequately.
  4. To ensure a smooth and efficient service, the property must be clean and fully vacated before furniture delivery and styling can commence. We advise that you remove any valuable or breakable personal belongings from the property before any work begins.
  5. For Occupational Health & Safety reasons, we require exclusive access to the property during the styling and installation period. Therefore, we kindly request that other parties such as building trades, gardeners, and cleaners are not scheduled to do any work in the property during this time. This ensures a smooth and safe styling process for all parties involved.
  6. Our team is required to wear shoes or safety shoes at all times. In line with WorkSafe requirements, our team members are not permitted to remove their shoes in your property throughout the duration of the styling and installation period. This is to ensure a safe and professional work environment. 
  7. It is essential that there is power to the property during the styling period and for photography. This enables us to operate our equipment and provide the best possible service.
  8. If less than 48 hours notice prior to furniture delivery is given, a cancellation fee of a minimum of 20% of the total styling investment applies. This covers the costs associated with planning and preparing for your project.
  9. We select all furniture and props that best suit the property. If you request an alternative, a change fee may apply. Surfcoast Property Stylist ensures that the project stays within the allocated budget to guarantee that the client receives the highest quality service without any unexpected costs. This is achieved by meticulous planning and monitoring of expenses throughout the project.
  10. All artwork and wall art will be mounted using nails and picture hooks. This ensures that the artwork is displayed correctly and securely.
  11. Please note that we will not be liable for removing or making good any minor damage caused by the installation of the goods that is reasonable in the circumstances. This includes holes left from nails, screws, or picture hooks and marks caused to floors created by the movement of furniture after placement and removing indentations from carpets.
  12. To ensure the highest standard and quality of furniture, our furnishings are for display purposes only and not for personal use. This ensures that the furniture remains in pristine condition for future use.
  13. All furniture and props must be returned in the same condition as they were installed. Fees may apply to rectify any damage caused. This ensures that you are responsible for any damage caused during the hire period.
  14. Please note that we may use real estate campaign photographs that represent our services on social media, email marketing, and our website for promotional purposes. This allows us to showcase our work to potential clients.
  15. Furniture may be collected at any time once the sale of the property becomes unconditional or the hire period has ended. We endeavor to give as much notice as possible to you.
  16. If you need to extend the hire period, please note that styling hire extension is subject to availability. Requests to extend the hire period and extension fees are required seven days before the end of the initial hire period. Furniture hire extension fees apply and will be invoiced and payable on confirmation of the extension. This allows you to extend the hire period if necessary.
  17. Please note that dismantling and collection of furnishings may take up to two weeks to complete. This ensures that the furniture is collected and returned to us in a timely and orderly manner.
